Elias Kane, a former Sergeant of the U.S. Marine Corps Reconnaissance Battalion, carries the PTSD nightmares of the Afghan battlefield and the guilt of his comrade’s “death in battle”. For five years after his retirement, he has been living in darkness. A security mission in the Wyoming desert leads him to a fatal attack by otherworldly Shadow Eaters. On the verge of death, the original powers of Tawasco, the ancient god of the North American land, and Atax, the ancient god of the sky, awaken. Endowed with rock fists and thunder power, he becomes the chosen vessel to guard the continent.
