My Goth Roommate game, Kaito just wanted to split the rent. Yoru just wanted a quiet place to work. A romance/slice-of-life Visual Novel about two strangers, one house, and how much can grow out of simply living together. Kaito Fujimura is a freelance programmer. He works from home, talks to himself more than he’d admit, and has a real talent for hiding how he feels behind a joke.

Yoru Kurose is a professional cosplayer. Goth aesthetic, huge heart, and a real gift for looking distant while secretly caring about everything. The two have never met… until the day they decide to split a bigger house, and a smaller bill. My Goth Roommate is the story of what happens after that. Not every great story starts with a dramatic meet-cute. Sometimes it starts with a shared rent listing. There’s no villain, no world to save, just quiet, comfortable breakfasts, a movie during a rainy, a cosplay photoshoot that turns into the start of everything, and the slow, inevitable discovery that “roommate” was never quite the right word.
