Red Hood: Dark Desire Overview

SoftSin is a demo of a 2D top-down shooter with pixel-art visuals and mature (18+) themes. Survive waves of enemies, dodge attacks, and fight under increasing pressure caused by different enemy behaviors. All characters are 18+.

– Core mechanics: movement, shooting, dodge/dash
– Healing items can drop from defeated enemies

Developer Notes:

Update cadence: new builds are planned примерно every ~2 weeks.

Next update (~2 weeks):
– Combat update: limited ammo + projectile pickups (interact with stones on the map to refill ammo)
– +9 new mature CG scenes (including new duo / multi-enemy variations)
– Balance pass + small UI improvements

Next 4–6 weeks:
– Add a CG gallery
– Between-wave upgrades (MVP: choose 1 of 3 upgrades after each wave)
– New enemy type + new arena hazard (e.g., puddles / terrain effects)

Long-term plans (subject to change):
– Path selection / node-based progression toward Grandma’s house
– Corruption-style progression system
– Optional animated CG loops
– New locations and game modes

Supporter influence:
– Supporters can vote on priorities and help shape the roadmap.
